Job Description

Our client in the FMCG/Manufacturing Industry is currently looking to employ an HR Administrator, based in Humansdorp, Eastern Cape.

Requirements:

  • National Diploma in Human Resources, Finance, or Office Administration.

  • Minimum 3+ years of data capturing or administrative experience.

  • Proficient in SAGE 300 People system.

  • Medical Aid Recon Experience.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.

  • Strong report writing and communication skills.

  • Competent in all MS Office packages.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems will be advantageous.

  • Prior experience in HR and/or FMCG environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

Payroll Administration:

  • Load new employees onto SAGE and verify accuracy of information before payroll deadlines.

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and timeously.

  • Prepare and distribute monthly payroll memos to relevant stakeholders.

  • Address payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.

  • Capture and track unpaid leave and ensure appointments and terminations are accurately recorded on SAGE.

  • Generate payslip and salary reports for non-bargaining unit employees and salary adjustments.

Leave and Benefits Administration:

  • Maintain and update employee leave records, including annual and negative leave balances.

  • Generate and provide leave balance reports to managers upon request.

  • Compile monthly medical aid reconciliation reports and update related spreadsheets on SharePoint.

  • Manage applications, registrations, changes, and terminations for medical aid records.

Reporting and Compliance:

  • Draw and submit monthly payroll reports, salary updates, and related HR data reports.

  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance with company policies and labor regulations.

General HR Administration:

  • Support the HR team with general administrative tasks as required.

  • Maintain organized and up-to-date HR documentation and records.

  • Assist in improving and maintaining efficient HR administrative processes.
