<p><strong>Assistant Controller </strong>required for a reputable automotive manufacturing company based in <strong>East London , Eastern Cape</strong></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>B.Com or equivalent with accounting major or acceptable controlling experience.</li><li>Minimum 3 years relevant financial experience, with exposure to accounting practices</li><li>Advanced PC literacy. Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system</li><li>Ability to perform duties independently with speed and accuracy</li><li>Critical and analytical thinking</li><li>High ethical standards and behaviours in keeping with Leadership Expectations Model</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Month end processing and reporting. Forecasting. Financial and Commercial Bridges.</li><li>Assist in Accounts Payable investigations and submit Manual Payment Requests.</li><li>Processing of petty cash and expense claims.</li><li>Assists with the monthly inter-company reconciliations.</li><li>Reconcile inter-company balances and process IC3 forms.</li><li>SAP Accounts payable.</li><li>Prepare AP vouchers in clearing of vendor accounts.</li><li>Responsible for the adherence of all IOS and other finance related legal procedures.</li><li>SOX and internal control compliance</li><li>Perform Balance Sheet Reconciliations</li><li>Prepare Payroll and Month End Journals</li><li>Follow up Accounts Receivable invoice receipts</li></ul><p>Should you wish to apply please email your CV through to Kirsten Smith at <strong>*****@*****.co.za</strong></p><p>Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
