The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing projects, ensuring that it is completed on time, within budget, and meets all regulatory standards.</p><p> </p><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></span></p><p>Develop detailed engineering plans and designs for projects utilizing both manual design skills as well as computer-based application, such as automated computer-assisted design.</p><p>Oversee the execution of civil projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed within scope, time frame, and budget.</p><p>Conduct site inspections, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.</p><p>Perform structural and geotechnical analysis, addressing any issues or changes that may arise during the project lifecycle.</p><p>Carry out the design function according to the Scope of Work and national and/or international regulations.</p><p>Provide accurate cost estimates and manage project budgets effectively.</p><p>Prepare technical reports, presentations, and other documentation to keep all stakeholders informed of project progress and any challenges encountered.</p><p>Integrate sustainable practices and innovative technologies into engineering designs to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact.</p><p>Maintain proper record of reviews and job details</p><p> </p><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Desired Experience &amp; Qualification</strong></span></p><p><strong>Minimum requirements:</strong></p><p>Grade 12 with mathematics and science</p><p>B.Eng. / BTech Civil engineering qualification</p><p>2-4 Years Civil Engineering experience in the Petrochemical industry</p><p>Proficient in Prokon / Robot</p><p>Drafting Knowledge</p><p>Proficient in Microsoft Office</p><p>Valid drivers license with own transport (Code B / EB).</p><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><p>Civil design</p><p>Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry best practices</p><p>Understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods</p><p>Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills</p><p>Deadline driven</p><p>Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team</p><p>Good knowledge of health and safety regulations</p><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Package &amp; Remuneration</strong></span></p><p>R40 000 R55 000 depending on experience.</p><p>Over and above the basic we provide a medical aid allowance, discretionary bonus (13th cheque) and an incentive programme, as well as 20 working days paid annual leave.</p><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Interested?</strong></span></p><p>Please forward your CV to *****@*****.co.za</p>
