<p><strong><em>Please note that this position is based in The Middle East, relocation, accommodation and additional benefits apply.</em></strong></p><p> </p><p>A trusted and well established client of ours in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced General Manager to undertake major Oil Tanker construction and maintenance projects throughout the GCC. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities: </strong></p><ul><li>Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion (Oil Tankage) </li><li>Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverable and estimate costs, Full P&amp;L Management </li><li>Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations</li><li>Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion</li><li>Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverable and estimate costs</li><li>Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations</li><li>Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors</li><li>Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory</li><li>Meet contractual conditions of performance</li><li>Review the work progress on daily basis</li><li>Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status</li><li>Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones</li><li>Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses</li><li>Analyze, manage and mitigate risks</li><li>Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Proven working experience in Tankage construction and maintenance management in The Gulf</li><li>Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods</li><li>Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards</li><li>Understanding of all facets of the construction process, project management and people management</li><li>Familiarity with relevant construction management software packages</li><li>Ability to plan and see the big picture</li><li>Competent in conflict and crisis prevention and management</li><li>Leadership and human resources management skills</li><li>Excellent time and project management skills</li><li>Relevant Degree</li></ul><p> </p><p><em>Please note that by submitting your personal information to Deka Minas you free-willingly issue the business consent to make use of such data for the specific purpose of securing you either permanent or temporary employment.
