<p>Well established company based in Gqeberha are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented <strong data-start="332" data-end="345">Toolmaker</strong> to join the automotive manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining and repairing tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures to ensure optimal production performance. This role plays a vital part in maintaining high-quality standards and supporting production efficiency</p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li data-start="1374" data-end="1436"><p data-start="1376" data-end="1436">Trade Tested Toolmaker (Red Seal certification preferred)</p></li><li data-start="1437" data-end="1546"><p data-start="1439" data-end="1546">Minimum 35 years of experience as a Toolmaker in an automotive or high-volume manufacturing environment</p></li><li data-start="1547" data-end="1611"><p data-start="1549" data-end="1611">Strong knowledge of machining, tooling and CNC programming</p></li><li data-start="1612" data-end="1683"><p data-start="1614" data-end="1683">Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD designs</p></li><li data-start="1684" data-end="1732"><p data-start="1686" data-end="1732">Excellent attention to detail and precision</p></li><li data-start="1733" data-end="1788"><p data-start="1735" data-end="1788">Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude</p></li></ul><ul><li data-start="1818" data-end="1872"><p data-start="1820" data-end="1872">Experience with injection moulding or press tools (advantageous)</p></li><li data-start="1873" data-end="1923"><p data-start="1875" data-end="1923">Familiarity with ISO/TS 16949 quality systems (advantageous)</p></li><li data-start="1924" data-end="1985"><p data-start="1926" data-end="1985">CAD/CAM software proficiency (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam) (advantageous)</p></li></ul><p><strong data-start="659" data-end="684">Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul data-start="686" data-end="1336"><li data-start="686" data-end="782"><p data-start="688" data-end="782">Manufacture, assemble, and repair tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures to precise specifications</p></li><li data-start="783" data-end="853"><p data-start="785" data-end="853">Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to produce components</p></li><li data-start="854" data-end="932"><p data-start="856" data-end="932">Operate milling machines, lathes, grinders, and other precision equipment</p></li><li data-start="933" data-end="1021"><p data-start="935" data-end="1021">Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of tools</p></li><li data-start="1022" data-end="1086"><p data-start="1024" data-end="1086">Ensure tools meet required tolerances and quality standards</p></li><li data-start="1087" data-end="1183"><p data-start="1089" data-end="1183">Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimise tool design and functionality</p></li><li data-start="1184" data-end="1281"><p data-start="1186" data-end="1281">Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety standards</p></li><li data-start="1282" data-end="1336"><p data-start="1284" data-end="1336">Record maintenance and repair activities accurately</p></li></ul><p>Should you wish to apply please submit your CV through for consideration.</p><p>Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
