Job Summary
â? Minimum Requirements Grade 12 / Matric A B.Com degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management is advantageous Valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle Fluent in English both verbal and written Minimum 3 years experience in freight forwarding operations (air, ocean, and road) Strong knowledge of Incoterms Prior experience with CargoWise1 (CW1) is essential Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Familiarity with MS Dynamics is beneficial ? Preferred Competencies Solid understanding of international freight forwarding Experience in a multicultural, multinational environment Strong administrative and organizational skills Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy Excellent time management and punctuality Team-oriented and collaborative approach Ability to work methodically under pressure Sound knowledge of global freight processes and service providers ? Key Responsibilities Prepare competitive pricing for RFPs, client ad-hoc quotations, RFQs, and other quoting tasks (excluding tenders) Ensure consistency and accuracy using internal tools within agreed KPIs Develop client-specific pricing solutions where required Follow detailed pricing processes and SOPs Strategize pricing based on market intelligence and trends Manage both internal and external customer expectations Collaborate closely with Sales, CRM, Revenue Management, and other Pricing Teams Provide data-driven insights to support commercial decisions Quality-check estimates before submission (especially for tender-related work) Promote team collaboration and maintain a high-performance culture Be available to work extended hours based on operational needs
