Maintenance Fitter Mining (Marble Hall, Limpopo)
A well-established mining operation based in Marble Hall, Limpopo is urgently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join their on-site maintenance team.

This is a full-time, permanent role requiring relocation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct mechanical installations and commissioning of motors, gearboxes, bearings, pulleys, belts, crushers, crusher components, chutes, etc.

• Perform precision alignment and maintenance on rotating equipment including crushers and a grinding mill.

• Carry out breakdown support and preventative maintenance across the plant.

• Fabricate or assist in minor fabrication (frames, guards, chutes) and welding as needed.

• Replace bearings, shafts, couplings, and conduct mechanical fault-finding and repairs.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of welders, boilermakers, and electricians.

• Guide and oversee an assistant as the sole fitter on site experience and independence are essential.

Requirements:

• Qualified Fitter with a recognized trade certificate.

• Proven experience working on crushing and screening plants (milling plant experience is a strong advantage).

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems used in mining environments.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

• Willingness to relocate to Marble Hall.

Salary:

• CTC: R26 000 R32 000, depending on experience.
