Johannesburg: Costing Controller

About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Import Controller to manage and oversee all import operations. The successful candidate will ensure that goods are imported efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage all import documentation and shipping processes. Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and clearing agents to ensure timely delivery of goods. Monitor shipment progress and resolve any delays or discrepancies. Ensure compliance with SARS customs requirements and import regulations. Manage costings, shipping schedules, and landed cost calculations. Maintain accurate records of all import transactions. Prepare regular import status reports for management. Requirements: Grade 12 / Matric (a qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field is an advantage). Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in import control or logistics coordination. Strong knowledge of incoterms, customs procedures, and import documentation . Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
