Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Produce management accounts and financial statements Perform complex balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations Support month-end and year-end reporting processes Apply IFRS standards and provide technical accounting guidance Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial information Budgeting, Forecasting & Project Finance Prepare and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts Monitor project financial performance and analyse variances Support project finance activities and financial modelling Identify cost optimisation opportunities and improve financial performance Deliver meaningful financial insights to support business decision-making Governance, Compliance & Continuous Improvement Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements Strengthen financial controls and governance frameworks Support external and internal audit processes Drive finance process improvements, automation initiatives, and reporting enhancements Identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency Job Experience and Skills Required: Qualifications: BCom Honours (CTA) Completed SAICA Articles SAICA Registration essential CA(SA) advantageous Experience: Minimum 4 years’ post-articles financial accounting experience Minimum 2 years’ project finance experience Hospitality, Gaming or Entertainment industry exposure advantageous Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting Exposure to finance transformation, automation, or process improvement initiatives highly advantageous Skills & Competencies: Advanced Microsoft Excel Cognos Reporting Tool experience IFS ERP experience advantageous Strong IFRS and technical accounting knowledge Excellent budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling skills Strong understanding of governance, internal controls, and statutory compliance Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving abilities Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to both finance and non-finance stakeholders Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills Continuous improvement mindset with an interest in technology and automation High levels of accountability, professionalism, and attention to detail What’s in it for you?
