Van Schaik Bookstore (Pty) Ltd is seeking a dynamic and results-driven MTN Product Lead to drive MTNs presence and performance within the Van Schaik retail network. This pivotal role will translate MTN and Van Schaiks commercial goals into actionable strategies that grow sales, enhance customer engagement, and strengthen MTNs brand visibility across our stores nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the go-to-market strategy for MTN products and services within Van Schaik Bookstores.
• Ensure effective product positioning for student, academic, and general retail audiences.
• Collaborate with MTN and Van Schaik Functional Teams (General Manager & Marketing Departments) to align strategy, manage joint initiatives, and execute campaigns.
• Oversee store readiness, including stock availability, system setup, and promotional displays.
• Coordinate and implement marketing activations and in-store promotions to drive customer awareness and uptake.
• Conduct sales performance monitoring, analyse trends, and identify opportunities to grow revenue contribution from the MTN product range.
• Facilitate staff training to ensure product knowledge, customer engagement, and compliance with MTN and Van Schaik retail standards.
• Maintain strong brand governance and operational compliance across all participating stores.

Qualifications & Experience

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business Management, or Retail Operations.
• Minimum 35 years experience in a product, brand, or retail lead role (telecommunications or FMCG sector advantageous).
• Proven experience in channel management, marketing execution, and sales analysis.
• Strong coordination, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across business units and with external partners.
