Johannesburg North: Junior Financial Accountant posted by Network Finance

• Assisting with the full finance function
• Preparing and supporting monthly management accounts
• Processing journals and maintaining general ledger accounts
• Performing bank, balance sheet, and account reconciliations
• Assisting with monthly financial reporting processes
• Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Assisting with payroll administration and related reconciliations
• Supporting audit processes and ensuring compliance with internal controls
• Assisting the finance team with ad hoc accounting responsibilities

Education:

• BCom Degree or Advanced Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Additional payroll or accounting-related training will be advantageous

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year’s relevant accounting experience or completed accounting articles
• Exposure to management accounts and financial reporting
• Experience within the full finance function advantageous
• Payroll exposure beneficial
• Strong Excel and computer literacy skills
• Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bilingual communication skills advantageous
• Collaborative, positive, and proactive approach to work
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
