I’m currently recruiting for experienced L2 Network Engineers for contract opportunities with leading organisations across South Africa. These roles offer exposure to enterprise-grade technologies, complex network environments, and the opportunity to work alongside highly skilled professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated network incidents (L1 to L2).
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds, Wireshark, and PRTG.
- Implement network changes, upgrades, and migrations.
- Collaborate with L3 engineers and cross-functional teams.
- Maintain accurate network documentation and configuration backups.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:
- National Senior Certificate / Matric / N3 / Grade 12
- Degree or Diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- ITIL Foundation Certification
Certifications preferred:
- Aruba (ACSP / ACMP / ACP – Campus Access)
- Fortinet NSE7
Experience:
- 3–5 years in a network support or engineering role
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, HP/Aruba, or Mikrotik
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, NAT, QoS
Skills:
- Proficient in network monitoring and diagnostic tools
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
