Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies and policies.
- Oversee the sourcing, negotiation, and contracting of suppliers and service providers.
- Ensure cost-effective purchasing practices while maintaining quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders.
- Manage procurement budgets and ensure compliance with financial targets.
- Monitor market trends and identify potential risks or opportunities.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services required for operations.
- Lead and mentor the procurement team, ensuring continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- BCom Degree or higher in Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5–7 years’ relevant experience in a procurement management role.
- Experience in the mining, construction, or engineering sectors is highly advantageous.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in procurement systems and Microsoft Office.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
