Job Description
Requirements:
- A Bachelor of Commerce in Industrial Engineering or Logistics Management.
- A minimum of 810 years Operational Management experience within a Supply Chain or Manufacturing environment.
- A minimum of 5 years General Management experience in a small to medium Logistics or Manufacturing setting.
- Experience in implementing WCM and driving Continuous Improvement (CI) projects.
- Working knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies.
- Working knowledge of SAP (SD, PP, and MM modules).
Responsibilities:
- Manage all warehouse personnel, including performance management and employee development.
- Benchmark, review, and introduce systems to optimise the efficient delivery of warehouse services in a sustainable manner.
- Coordinate delivery of services with the organisations operations to promote synergy and grow so as to provide strategic partnerships that enhance.
- The development and implementation of new business processes, handling equipment, product packaging, transport equipment, and resourcing as and when required by changes in business requirements or strategic direction.
- Effective management of Inventory and Distribution activities in and out of the warehouses, including the management of group tenants sharing these facilities.
- Delivery of consistent, accurate, and on-time reporting, which includes operational and financial analysis highlighting key risks and opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to all quality control systems, including ISO 9000.
- Drive the introduction of World Class performance and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate adherence to the PFG business integration planning and ensure order execution.
