Duties: Manage monthly group reporting, including intercompany reconciliations, consolidations and foreign currency translations. Prepare standalone and consolidated management reports, Board Packs and financial reports. Lead the month-end and year-end financial close process. Prepare management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis. Ensure compliance with IFRS, accounting policies and financial reporting standards. Coordinate the annual external audit and assist with Annual Financial Statements and tax computations. Prepare technical accounting papers and support the implementation of new IFRS standards. Support the annual budgeting, forecasting and group cost allocation processes. Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide actionable insights. Drive continuous improvements to financial controls, reporting processes and group finance practices. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) BCom in Accounting or a related field. BCom Honours / CTA CA(SA) Experience: Completed SAICA Articles. 35 years’ post-articles experience. Proven experience in group consolidations and management reporting. Strong understanding of IFRS and IAS. Experience with foreign currency accounting. Preparation of Annual Financial Statements and tax computations. Strong variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting experience. Advanced Microsoft Excel. Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems. Strong understanding of accounting packages and financial reporting tools. Skills & Competencies: Has exceptional technical accounting knowledge.
