This role requires a commercially astute professional who can identify new business opportunities, build strategic relationships, engage technical decision-makers and convert market opportunities into long-term revenue. You will work closely with engineering, production and management teams while representing an internationally recognised manufacturer within mining, industrial and hazardous-area environments.
Education:
- Technical qualification advantageous
- Electrical Engineering qualification advantageous
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in technical sales and business development
- Proven success securing new customers and growing revenue
- Mining, industrial or technical sales experience
- Strong understanding of the South African mining sector
- Experience working with mining houses, OEMs, EPCMs, contractors or distributors
- Excellent presentation, negotiation and relationship management skills
- Ability to develop new markets and strategic accounts
- Strong commercial awareness and pipeline management
- Valid driver’s licence
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally
