About the Role

A Workshop & Hydraulic Technician is required at our client’s facility in Johannesburg, where you will be responsible for performing repairs on electrical power tools and hydraulic units, as well as routine maintenance and inspections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Book in units for repair and create detailed job cards
  • Diagnose faults and repair hydraulic units and power tools
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections
  • Conduct quality control checks
  • Mentor learnerships by teaching repair skills
  • Assist customers and reps with offloading units when required
  • Maintain workshop cleanliness and housekeeping standards
  • Submit required reports

Requirements

  • Matric (Compulsory)
  • Minimum N3 with Electrical Trade Theory
  • At least 3 years’ experience as a Power Tool Technician
  • Previous repair experience (essential)
  • Power Tool Repairs Certificate (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of major brands such as Bosch, Makita, etc. (advantageous)
  • Experience in fault-finding (essential)

Salary & Benefits

R10 000 – R15 000 Basic Commission
