The Tools Application Specialist is expected to assist the Product and Training Department to further establish, develop and grow within South Africa as well as Sub Sahara Africa.

The Tools Application Specialist focusing specifically on Solid Carbide Tooling (SCT) is excepted to assist the external sales department with developing and expanding our business within the solid carbide cutting tools sector. This is done by providing technical support to customers and distributors in the form of application assessments and product evaluations as well as product specific selection and application training.

DUTIES:

• Product and Training
• Regional and National Sales incl. Exports
• Marketing
• Manufacturing
• Finance and Administration

REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric / Grade 12 / NQF 4 or Equivalent
• Minimum 5 years Sales in Solid Carbide Tooling Industry
• Strong knowledge about machining processes (milling and drilling)
• Good understanding about CNC equipment, operations and programming.
• Selling, Marketing and Negotiation Skills will be an advantage
• English essential but preferble bilingual
• Must be MS Office Literate (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• A basic knowledge of metals and abrasive applications will be an advantage
• Must have a valid Code 8 drivers license (Code 10 / 14 advantageous).
• Be able to communicate and interact with all employee levels (Internal and
  External)
• Must have good numeric skills Calculation.
