About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Limpopo Career Consortium (Limcaco). The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of our cement industry facilities through plant inspection, maintenance, and repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct proper plant inspection, maintenance, and repairs using sufficient knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems in heavy industry.
- Utilize CMMS software (currently SAP) to manage maintenance activities.
- Apply AWMEAM Maintenance Work Processes and Planning and Scheduling skills.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the Process and Quality processes within the facility or factory.
- Prepare technical reports on maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
- Grade 12* B.Sc or B Eng Electrical Engineering with 5 years experience in cement or equivalent industry.
- OR* B Tech Electrical Engineering with minimum of 6 years experience in cement or equivalent industry.
- OR* Artisan Trade Qualification and a National Diploma with at least 7 years experience in cement or equivalent industry.
