• Qualified CA(SA) – non-negotiable
• Minimum 5 years’ commercial finance experience
• Essential experience within a milling environment
• JSE-listed company exposure is essential
• Strong operational finance and business partnering experience
• Proven experience supporting production and manufacturing operations
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, governance, and compliance requirements within a listed environment
• Willingness to travel extensively to remote locations

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with operational management to drive commercial performance and profitability
• Provide strategic financial guidance to production and site management teams
• Monitor and analyse production costs, margins, and operational efficiencies
• Develop and implement commercial strategies to optimise business performance
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Evaluate capital expenditure projects and investment opportunities
• Conduct profitability analysis across products, sites, and business units
• Manage cost control initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvements
• Prepare and present financial and operational reports to executive management
• Support pricing strategies, procurement decisions, and supply chain optimisation
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, corporate governance requirements, and internal controls
• Support statutory reporting and compliance within a JSE-listed environment
• Oversee financial performance across multiple production facilities
• Travel to remote production sites to monitor operations, assess risks, and support management teams
• Collaborate with executive leadership to support strategic business objectives and growth initiatives
