• RSA ID and legal residence essential
• Previous Camp Manager experience essential
• Valid Driver’s License essential
• Strong leadership and staff management skills
• Excellent guest relations and hosting ability
• Experience overseeing Housekeeping and Maintenance departments
• Strong stock control and ordering experience
• Computer literate
• Fluent in English (additional foreign languages advantageous)
• Well-presented, professional, and service driven
• Responsible, hands-on, and able to work independently under pressure
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude

 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the daily operation of the camp
• Welcome and host guests throughout their stay
• Ensure exceptional guest service and monitor service standards
• Coordinate guest activities and daily lodge operations
• Supervise Housekeeping and Maintenance, including daily room inspections
• Manage stock, ordering, stock takes, and beverage and curio sales
• Lead, motivate, and develop the camp team
• Resolve guest and staff concerns professionally
• Maintain high operational, presentation, and safety standards
• Assist across departments to ensure seamless lodge operations

 
PACKAGE:

• R12,000 – R16,000 per month (DOE)
• Live-in position
• Meals included
• 7 consecutive days off per month
• 21 consecutive days annual leave
• Couples or single applicants will be considered
• Couples may apply as Camp Manager & Camp Manager or Camp Manager & Field Guide
