– Previous experience in an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager role within a lodge or hospitality environment
– Strong Food & Beverage operational knowledge
– Excellent guest relations and hosting skills
– Strong leadership and staff management ability
– Good understanding of restaurant, bar, and service operations
– Experience with stock control, ordering, and cost management
– Strong communication and organisational skills
– Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
– Professional appearance and positive attitude
– Hands-on and service-driven approach
– Computer literacy essential
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Assist in overseeing all Food & Beverage operations
– Ensure exceptional guest service and dining experiences
– Supervise restaurant, bar, and dining service teams
– Support staff training, development, and performance management
– Assist with stock control, ordering, and supplier coordination
– Ensure hygiene, health, and safety standards are maintained
– Handle guest requests and complaints professionally
– Coordinate closely with kitchen and operational departments
– Monitor service standards and operational efficiency
– Assist with F&B administration, reporting, and controls
– Uphold property standards and professionalism at all times
PACKAGE:
– R18,000 – R22,000 (Negotiable – DOE)
