North West: Fleet Manager posted by African Echoes Recruitment

REQUIREMENT:
– RSA ID and legal residence essential
– Proven experience in fleet management or vehicle maintenance
– Strong mechanical knowledge of 4×4 vehicles and diesel engines
– Experience working in a lodge or remote environment advantageous
– Ability to manage vehicle servicing schedules and repairs
– Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
– Valid Driver’s License essential
– Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Oversee and manage the entire lodge vehicle fleet
– Ensure all vehicles are serviced, maintained, and roadworthy
– Manage vehicle inspections, service schedules, and breakdowns
– Maintain accurate fleet records, logs, and maintenance reports
– Coordinate repairs and liaise with external service providers when required
– Ensure compliance with safety standards and lodge procedures
– Monitor fuel usage and control fleet-related costs
– Support guiding and operations teams with vehicle readiness
– Assist with general maintenance duties when required

PACKAGE:
