North West: Maintenance Manager posted by African Echoes Recruitment

REQUIREMENT:
– RSA ID and legal residence essential
– Relevant technical qualification (Electrical / Mechanical / Building)
– Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager in a lodge or hospitality environment
– Strong knowledge of general maintenance including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building upkeep
– Ability to manage preventative maintenance schedules
– Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
– Experience managing a maintenance team
– Good organisational and stock control skills
– Ability to work independently and under pressure
– Valid driver’s license essential

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Oversee all maintenance operations across the lodge
– Implement and manage preventative maintenance plans
– Ensure all lodge facilities and equipment are in excellent working condition
– Supervise and manage the maintenance team
– Conduct regular inspections of buildings, rooms, and public areas
– Manage stock, tools, and maintenance supplies
– Coordinate repairs, services, and external contractors
– Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
– Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergencies
– Maintain records of maintenance work and schedules

PACKAGE:
