Northern Cape: Lodge Manager posted by Wild Dreams Hospitality

Core Criteria:

• Previous experience in lodge management, guest relations, or hospitality operations
• Strong administration and organisational skills
• Experience with reservations systems, Microsoft Office, and guest account management
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Experience with stock control and financial administration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Valid driver’s licence
• Positive, hands-on attitude with a genuine passion for conservation and guest service

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage guest communication from reservation through to departure
• Coordinate guest arrivals, departures, activities, and special requests
• Conduct room and property inspections to maintain consistent service standards
• Oversee daily operations across the main camp, research camp, and student accommodation
• Coordinate housekeeping and maintenance requirements
• Manage staff schedules, performance, training, and development
• Oversee stock control and monthly stock takes for guest amenities, beverages, and operational supplies
• Ensure accurate guest billing and account reconciliations
• Monitor operational expenses and implement cost control measures
• Maintain records relating to occupancy, maintenance, incidents, and staff matters
• Coordinate accommodation logistics and orientation for researchers and students
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards

On Offer:

• Salary: R25,000 per month DOE
