About the Role

A reputable and established operation within the agricultural and heavy equipment sector is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join their technical team. This role is suited to a hands-on, mechanically strong individual who thrives in a site-based environment and takes pride in maintaining machinery to the highest operational standard.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct inspections and advanced diagnostic testing
Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance
Identify and repair worn or damaged components
Repair, overhaul and replace major assemblies and sub-assemblies
Work on hydraulic, electrical, fuel, braking, steering and air systems
Complete machine assessments and prepare technical reports
Maintain accurate service documentation
Support operational efficiency by ensuring machinery uptime

Requirements

Proven experience as a Diesel Technician / Diesel Mechanic (preferred) OR strong proven experience in heavy/agricultural equipment

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability

Own tools essential

Strong mechanical and technical understanding

Detail-oriented, dependable and methodical

Able to work independently and manage workload effectively

Qualifications

Trade Tested Diesel Mechanic (preferred)
