Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  
• 13 years’ accounting or bookkeeping experience.
  
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  
• Experience using accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, Pastel, or similar).
  
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Advantageous

• Completed articles or currently studying toward a professional accounting qualification.
  
• Experience within FMCG, manufacturing, food production, or distribution environments.
  
• Knowledge of inventory accounting and stock reconciliations.
  
• Experience with VAT and statutory reporting requirements.
