About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our luxury hotel in Plettenberg Bay. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing operational efficiency, service quality, and guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full operations, service, logistics, and activities
- Ensure exceptional levels of personalised service for guests
- Assist HOD’s in maintaining guest spaces and facilities
- Implement systems to capture and communicate guest preferences
- Uphold brand standards and ensure a streamlined structure
- Conduct effective departmental meetings and take accurate minutes
- Assist in achieving best procurement agreements
- Stay innovative in guest experience and up-to-date with industry trends
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Tertiary qualification in Hospitality or Hotel Management
- Minimum of 3-5 years Assistant Hotel Management or Senior Duty Management experience within a 4/5* Hotel
- Strong stock control skills
- Advanced computer skills
- Good communication and motivating staff skills
- Attention to detail
- Experience with Admin and Cost Management
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s licence (advantage)
