About the Role
Our client, based in Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha), is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join their growing team within the solar and renewable energy industry. This opportunity is ideal for a proactive sales professional with strong technical understanding of electrical or solar systems, and a proven ability to generate new business, build client relationships, and close deals in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct cold calling, client visits, and follow-ups to generate new business opportunities
- Convert qualified leads into sales and drive revenue growth
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Present solar and electrical solutions and recommend suitable product offerings
- Track, report, and manage sales activities to ensure consistent target achievement
Candidate Profile
- National Senior Certificate (Matric / Grade 12) essential
- Tertiary qualification in Sales, Electrical, or Renewable Energy advantageous
- 2–3 years’ experience in sales within electrical, solar, or renewable energy industries (non-negotiable)
- Strong technical understanding of solar and electrical systems and solutions
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client engagement skills
- Highly driven, self-motivated, and results-oriented
- Comfortable with face-to-face client engagement and field-based sales
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Mac OS exposure advantageous
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel
