Potchefstroom: Financial Accountant posted by Network Finance

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full accounting function from source documents to financial reporting
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and account reviews
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
• Support audit processes and statutory requirements
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on financial matters

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• CA(SA) qualification; OR
• Completed SAICA articles with 2 years’ post-articles experience
• Strong understanding of the full accounting function
• Excellent financial reporting and reconciliation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Must be able to attend the Potchefstroom office two days per week
