About the Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Dealer Principal to join a well-established premium automotive brand based in Menlyn. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and profitability of the dealership, ensuring the achievement of sales, aftersales, customer satisfaction, and operational performance targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all dealership departments, including New Vehicle Sales, Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales, Aftersales, Parts, Finance & Insurance, and Administration.
  • Drive dealership profitability through effective sales strategies, operational efficiencies, and sound financial management.
  • Ensure compliance with OEM standards, policies, and performance requirements.
  • Develop and implement business plans to achieve sales and market share objectives.
  • Monitor financial performance, budgets, forecasting, and departmental KPIs.
  • Build, coach, and motivate management and operational teams to achieve business goals.
  • Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction and customer retention standards.
  • Foster strong relationships with OEM representatives, customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and continuously improve dealership performance.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Dealer Principal within the automotive industry. Proven track record of achieving sales, profitability, and operational targets. Strong leadership, people management, and coaching abilities. Sound understanding of dealership financials, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
