• Assess and analyse financial information, including bank statements, management accounts, and credit reports.
• Evaluate credit applications and make sound lending recommendations within delegated authority.
• Identify potential risks, trends, and mitigating factors through qualitative and quantitative analysis.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure complete and accurate credit applications.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Matric or equivalent qualification.
• Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field will be advantageous.

• Previous experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or risk management within the financial services industry.
• Experience analysing financial statements and assessing SME creditworthiness.
• Exposure to credit bureau systems

• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Sound understanding of credit principles, collections, and risk mitigation techniques.
