Minimum requirements: Matric is essential Diploma/ Degree in Bookkeeping or any equivalent qualification in a similar field 2-3 years experience as a Bookkeeper with bookkeeping up to trial balance Proficient in Pastel and MS Excel Key Responsibilities: Capturing supplier invoices on Pastel within 1 working days of receipt of order from customer Allocating and processing customer payments (cash inflows) from weekly Pastel bank report to customer GL account Accurately processing customer credit notes from customer remittances when received to customer GL customer accounts Processing and sending/uploading Pastel customer statements using correct procedure by the close of business on the 5th of each month and resolving any discrepancies timeously Capturing creditor payments (cash outflows) from weekly cash outflows bank reports to Pastel supplier account (or GL ledger expense account where applicable) Generating detailed VAT201 reports Answering all customer, supplier and customer telephone calls all emails within 24 hours Keeping document files up to date Consultant: Thandi Speelman – Dante Personnel Johannesburg Apply via our website www.dantesa.co.za If you do not hear from us within 5 days, please accept that your application was unsuccessful
