About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join our dynamic learning and development environment on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining engaging digital learning content that enhances learner experience and supports organisational learning objectives within a complex operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop engaging eLearning content, digital learning experiences and training materials.
  • Apply instructional design methodologies, including ADDIE, to develop effective learning interventions.
  • Create interactive learning modules using Articulate 360 (Storyline & Rise) and other content development tools.
  • Work with Learning Management Systems (LMS) to upload, maintain and manage digital learning content.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand technical learning requirements and translate them into effective digital learning solutions.
  • Ensure all learning content meets quality assurance standards and organisational requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement of learning materials through feedback and learner insights.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines while ensuring high-quality delivery.
  • Collaborate effectively across teams to deliver impactful and engaging learning experiences.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in instructional design, digital learning or content design. Background in Instructional Design and digital learning methodologies. Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS). Strong experience in content development software. Knowledge and practical application of ADDIE / learning processes. Exposure to learning technologies and digital training solutions.
