Job Summary We are seeking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Reservationist to join our ONOMO Sandton team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing guest reservations, ensuring accuracy, and contributing to an excellent guest experience. Key Responsibilities include: • Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online channels. • Accurately enter and update guest reservation information in our property management system (e.g., Opera). • Provide information about room availability, rates, and hotel amenities. • Communicate with guests to confirm, modify, or cancel reservations. • Ensure all special requests or preferences are documented and met. • Assist with troubleshooting reservation issues or special requests from guests. • Collaborate with the front desk and other departments to ensure smooth guest check-ins and check-outs. • Always maintain a professional and welcoming attitude. Qualifications and Competencies required: • Minimum 2-5 years experience in a similar role or any role in Front Office • Proficient in using reservations systems such as Opera and Microsoft Office. • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize. • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure. • Flexible schedule and willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed. • A positive, team-oriented attitude.
