Job Description
- Develop and execute a business development strategy to grow courier and road freight sales
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and client visits
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
- Understand client logistics needs and propose bespoke transport solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery
- Prepare proposals, quotes, and presentations for potential clients
- Achieve and exceed revenue and margin targets.
- Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in business development or sales within courier, transport, or logistics
- A solid understanding of road freight and courier services
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
