About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Management Couple to join our Luxury Lodge team in Lower Zambezi, South Africa. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across multiple high-end lodge properties, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead operations across multiple lodges, ensuring consistent service excellence and operational efficiency.
- Translate company vision and strategy into actionable regional plans.
- Provide clear leadership, mentorship, and oversight to Camp Managers and departmental heads.
- Foster cohesive teamwork and alignment across all sites.
- Champion the guest experience, ensuring every stay is personalised and exceptional.
- Maintain a visible and engaging presence with guests, personally hosting and supporting team interactions.
- Address guest feedback and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Drive innovation in guest activities and experiences reflecting the unique location.
- Oversee daily lodge operations in accordance with standards and SOPs.
- Coordinate logistics, procurement, and supply chain management for seamless operations.
- Ensure maintenance schedules, transportation, and communication systems function efficiently.
- Build and nurture a high-performing, motivated, and cohesive team culture.
- Identify and develop emerging talent, providing coaching, feedback, and training.
- Promote a culture of respect, inclusion, and empowerment.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ senior management experience in a camp or lodge management role, ideally with multi-property operations in remote locations.
- Proven track record in team leadership, operational management, and guest relations.
- Financial acumen with experience in budget management and reporting.
- Strong logistical and organisational skills suitable for remote operations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
