Employer Description 4-Star Game Lodge in Pilanesberg Job Description Our client is seeking a capable and resilient Assistant Lodge Manager to support the smooth running of lodge operations. This role calls for a professional with a strong character, excellent leadership skills and the ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Act as 2IC (Second-in-Command) to the Lodge Manager, ensuring seamless operations in their absence. Assist in overseeing daily lodge operations, including guest services, housekeeping and maintenance. Ensure high standards of hospitality and guest satisfaction. Supervise; train and motivate staff across departments. Support financial management, including budgets, cost control and reporting. Uphold health, safety and environmental standards. Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly. Work closely with the Lodge Manager to implement strategic initiatives. Qualifications Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field. Minimum 35 years experience in lodge or hospitality management. Proven ability to manage diverse teams and operations. Strong financial and administrative skills. Skills Excellent leadership and interpersonal abilities. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing demands. High attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in MS Office and Nebula Benefits Accommodation Meals on duty Provident Fund (After 3 month probation period)
