• Provide in-house graphic design and packaging artwork services.
• Liaise with sales teams and clients to interpret and meet design requirements.
• Prepare and submit artwork for certification approvals and printing.
• Approve final proofs and first production runs to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Source and manage dry goods (labels, cartons, closures, etc.), ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness and compliance.
• Coordinate and manage new product development projects through all stages.
• Work closely with the NPD and Production teams to ensure product specifications are correct and on time.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and relevant wine labelling legislation.
• Maintain accurate administrative and project documentation.
• Support health, safety and housekeeping standards within the department.

 
Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• A minimum 3-year Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design or related field
• At least 4 years of experience in a similar packaging or design role, ideally within the wine or FMCG industry
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
• Strong organisational, administrative and communication skills
• Knowledge of South African wine label legislation and international labelling requirements
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
