JVR Jobs Terms of Use
These terms apply to the normal JVR Jobs website, accounts, vacancy listings and optional promotion services. Virtual Work has separate marketplace terms.
1. Using JVR Jobs
You may use JVR Jobs only for lawful job-search, recruitment and related career purposes. You must provide accurate account information, protect your login details and promptly report suspected misuse. You may not scrape personal information, impersonate another person or organisation, distribute malware, evade security controls, publish scams, or use the service to harass or discriminate unlawfully.
2. Vacancy listings
JVR Jobs publishes and imports vacancy information from employers, recruiters and job sources. We try to keep listings useful, but we do not guarantee that every vacancy remains open, complete or error-free. Always verify the employer, closing date and application destination.
3. Applications and hiring
JVR Jobs facilitates discovery and application routing. Employers and recruiters control their own forms, screening, interviews, offers and hiring decisions. JVR Jobs does not guarantee employment, an interview, a reply or a particular outcome.
4. Jobseekers
Do not pay an application or placement fee for ordinary employment advertised through JVR Jobs. Submit only information reasonably required for the application and never disclose passwords, OTPs or banking PINs. Your dashboard information supports your own search and is not an employer-searchable candidate database.
5. Employers and agencies
You must be authorised to advertise the vacancy, describe it honestly, use job-related requirements and lawful processes, protect applicant information and keep the application route working. JVR Jobs may review, restrict, expire or remove content that is misleading, unlawful, unsafe, duplicated, expired or inconsistent with these terms.
6. Optional paid services
Free posting remains separate from optional visibility and application-route services. Prices and the defined service are shown before payment. Promotion can improve placement or add a channel, but it cannot guarantee views, applications or a hire. Manual promotion enters an operations queue after confirmed payment and is complete only when the stated service is delivered.
7. External websites
The green Go Apply button may take you to an employer, recruiter, Adzuna, JobMail or another authorised application route. External services have their own availability, privacy practices and terms. A link does not mean JVR Jobs controls that external service.
8. Virtual Work
Normal jobs and Virtual Work are separate systems. Virtual Work users must also follow the Virtual Work Terms, Community Standards and Safety and Payments guidance. JVR Jobs does not hold or release payment between Virtual Work parties.
9. Availability and changes
We may maintain, improve, restrict or discontinue a feature where necessary for security, reliability, compliance or service quality. We do not promise uninterrupted availability. Material changes to these terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
10. Responsibility
Use reasonable care when acting on a listing or user message. To the extent permitted by applicable law, JVR Jobs is not responsible for independent hiring decisions, external websites, user conduct or agreements between users. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Privacy and contact
Personal information is handled according to the JVR Jobs Privacy Policy and POPIA notice. Questions about these terms or an account can be sent to jvrsoftware@gmail.com.
Operational baseline: These terms document how the current service works. They should still receive South African legal review before being relied on for an unusual dispute or material contractual risk.
