Duties:

Prepare and review detailed cost estimates for heavy steel projects

Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate budgeting

Analyse project specifications and drawings to determine scope of work

Assist in tender documentation and bid preparations

Monitor project costs and update estimates as needed
Requirements:

5 to 10 years of experience in estimating, specifically within heavy steel environments

Strong understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes

Proficiency in reading technical drawings and specifications

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

Ability to work on-site and meet deadlines
