Western Cape: Assistant Finance Manager posted by Communicate Finance

• Support the Finance Manager with month-end and year-end reporting processes
• Prepare management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reports
• Maintain the general ledger, fixed asset register, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS
• Ensure compliance with tax and statutory requirements, while supporting external audits and maintaining strong internal controls
• Oversee inventory, intercompany reconciliations, and working capital reporting
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Drive process improvements, ERP optimisation, and finance transformation initiatives
• Partner with operational teams to provide financial insights and support strategic business projects and decision-making

Skills & Experience:

• Big four articles – preferred
• First time board pass – preferred
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar vacancy

 
Qualification:

• CA(SA) qualified
