This is a Cape Town based position. (Head Office in Johannesburg) Our client is a reputable financial administration concern with products and services in the Employee Benefits arena. The successful candidate would provide professional advice to clients and comply with requirements of the FAIS Act and Codes of conduct. They would render a host of services to a porfolio of existing clients and pursuing new clients. In addition to various administration requirements, experience is required in client presentations, interacting with third party broker clients and liaising with insurers, internal staff and Directors Assist with Merger and Acquisition initiatives and prepare client proposal documents. Ensure all Section 14 transfers are timeously addressed and finalised. Co Umbrella trustee duties, attendance at fund meetings, attending to governance matters and signing of fund documents, including special rules, Section 14 documents, board resolutions and annual financial statements. Take responsibility for the legal functions inside employee benefits. Set up structures to effectively manage and control of aforementioned. The required candidate will have: A Matric with Higher Grade Maths Bachelors Degree or equivalent qualification FAIS qualifications Min 5 years working experience : min of 3 in Employee Benefits Consulting Strong knowledge of Employee Benefits industry, Pension Funds, related legislation\Compliance and governance of Pension Fund Structures Financial Advisory and Retirement Fund Law knowledge Excellent communication in English and Afrikaans as well as MS Office Contactable references and a clean Credit and Criminal history is essential.
