Key Responsibilities:
Business Partnering & Commercial Support
- Partner closely with Operations, Workforce Planning, HR, and Client Services to provide financial guidance and commercial insights.
- Influence strategic decision-making through data-driven recommendations.
- Present financial information in a clear, practical, and commercially focused manner.
- Analyze operational performance, identify trends, and recommend opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Monitor key operational KPIs, including productivity, occupancy, attrition, and workforce performance.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities for assigned business units.
- Prepare detailed financial forecasts covering revenue, staffing costs, and operational expenditure.
- Deliver monthly management reports with meaningful variance analysis and commercial commentary.
- Support long-term strategic planning through financial modelling and scenario analysis.
- Assist with business cases and investment decisions.
Commercial Finance
- Analyse client contracts, pricing models, and revenue streams.
- Evaluate profitability across campaigns, clients, and business units.
- Support pricing reviews, contract renewals, and new business opportunities.
- Develop financial models to support commercial initiatives and strategic projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial performance and operational efficiencies.
Financial Management
- Support month-end reporting, reconciliations, journals, and financial controls.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, financial procedures, and governance requirements.
- Monitor budgets, operational expenditure, and financial performance.
- Drive continuous improvement of financial reporting and business processes.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with finance and non-finance stakeholders across the organisation.
- Challenge and support operational leaders to improve financial outcomes.
- Present financial results, forecasts, and recommendations to senior management.
- Act as the key finance contact for assigned operational business units.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- CA(SA) or CIMA qualification.
- 6–8 years’ experience in commercial finance, FP&A, management accounting, or finance business partnering.
- Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and management reporting.
- Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Sage, or similar.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence business decisions.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience within a contact centre, BPO, shared services, or operational environment will be highly advantageous.
