Job Summary
Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Kempton Park, Gauteng (Travel Required)
Salary: R40,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Our client is a well-established construction entity specialising in high-end marble and granite installations across large-scale commercial and residential developments. Known for their quality craftsmanship and expertise, they deliver bespoke interior and exterior solutions across South Africa and various African countries.
Position Overview
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. This role will involve managing costs, budgeting, and contracts for large-scale construction and interior/exterior finishing projects with a focus on marble, granite, and premium surfaces.
Key Responsibilities

Preparing accurate cost estimates and budgets for projects.

Liaising with clients, contractors, and suppliers.

Managing contracts and ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.

Monitoring project progress and keeping expenditure within budget.

Site visits to various project locations, including across African regions.

Preparing tender and contract documentation, including bills of quantities.

Overseeing procurement and assisting in sourcing high-quality materials.
Required Experience & Qualifications
-
Minimum 5+ years of Quantity Surveying experience on large-scale construction projects.

Previous work experience in African countries is highly advantageous.

Strong background in projects involving marble, granite, or high-end interior/exterior finishes.

Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.

Strong attention to detail, negotiation skills, and cost control expertise.
-
Willingness and ability to travel regionally and internationally as required.
