Duties:
 

• Developing and maintaining BI solutions using Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, and other tools.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver impactful insights.
• Supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining existing BI systems to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Designing and optimizing SQL queries, views, and stored procedures for seamless data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Documenting BI processes, data models, and reports for future reference.
• Participating in the full software development life cycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.

 
Job Experience & Skills Required:
 
 
Qualifications:
 

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• MS BI certification (advantageous).

 
Experience:
 

• Minimum of 2 years proven experience as a BI Developer.
• Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, and data modelling.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
• Experience with ETL processes and cloud technologies is highly desirable.

 
Skills & Competencies:
 

• Strong SQL skills with the ability to develop complex queries, views, and stored procedures.
• Familiarity with other BI tools and technologies.
• PHP & MySQL knowledge is a plus.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Proactive and detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability.
• Collaborative mindset and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects effectively.
