South Africa: Product Manager – Software (Remote)

Overview: Our client is looking for a highly skilled candidate with a strong technical background in telecom and Radio Access Network (RAN) environments. This is a fully remote role that involves working closely with customer teams, technical problem-solving, and providing end-to-end support for project delivery. In this role, you will be deeply involved in managing C-SON, RF parameters, and configuration management. You will also interact directly with radio engineers and other technical teams, making this a key position for driving software engineering solutions. What Youll Do: Act as the technical bridge between internal teams and customer stakeholders, including RF engineers and tooling teams. Support the delivery of complex projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Engage with technical requirements by: Developing and reviewing technical documentation. Reviewing and optimizing configuration parameters and rules. Identifying misconfigurations and offering actionable solutions. Analyzing network data using Unison. Creating reports and automating network operations using SQL and Python. Work directly with mobile operators on: GPL configuration topics. ANR rules optimization. PCI/RSI planning and management. What Youll Bring: Strong experience in telecom and RAN, including C-SON, RF parameters, and configuration management. Proven ability to analyze complex network data and troubleshoot effectively. Experience with Unison, SQL, and Python for reporting and automation. Comfort with working across international time zones. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Strong project management skills to lead and support initiatives from start to finish. Education & Remote Work Requirements: Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
