Johannesburg: Cold Chain Manager

Duties include: Work comfortably in cold conditions (-20°C to -25°C). Open warehouse at 05h00 and load frozen stock into vehicles. Record truck temperatures Be on standby for freezer maintenance or temperature issues; monitor freezer and fridge temps 24/7. Conduct and update daily stock counts; investigate and report discrepancies to DC Manager. Monthly stocktakes Brief and manage pickers to ensure timely, accurate picks and correct staging. Minimize and record damages; report non-conformances and submit claims promptly. Ensure accurate, timely receiving, returns, replenishment, and stock rotation. Maintain daily housekeeping and ensure freezer operates optimally; arrange technicians when needed. Manage timekeeping, leave, and PPE for freezer staff; update Health & Safety file. Requirements: Matric and Diploma or Degree in Logistics / Operation / Supply Chain 3-5 years cold chain management experience WMS experience (essential) Cycle counts Proficient in Excel
