Requirements Trade Test Qualification as a Boilermaker (Red Seal essential). Minimum 3-5 years experience in a fabrication or heavy engineering environment. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Experience in welding, structural fabrication, and cutting processes. Knowledge of mining equipment fabrication will be an advantage. Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong safety awareness and compliance mindset. Key Responsibilities Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair steel structures and components used in mining equipment. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Perform welding (MIG/TIG/ARC) and cutting using various tools and techniques. Conduct inspections on completed work to ensure compliance with SABS, ISO, and company quality standards. Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure accurate and efficient fabrication. Assist with maintenance, modification, and rebuilds of mining machinery and components. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and statutory requirements at all times.
