Our client is building a cutting-edge AI-driven health and wellness super app that brings together face-scanning vitals, health scoring, personalised recommendations, and product guidance into a seamless mobile experience. As they prepare for launch, they are seeking a hands-on Product Owner to take full ownership of the product roadmap and drive the next phase of growth.

Working closely with the CTO and CEO, you will lead the full product lifecycle from strategy to UX polish ensuring the app sets the benchmark for intuitive design, technical excellence, and measurable user impact.

What Youll Do

• Own and drive the product roadmap to align with strategic business goals.

• Champion user experience through insights, research, and continuous iteration.

• Translate product vision into detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Work closely with development teams across South Africa and India to prioritise work and ensure high-quality delivery.

• Understand and challenge technical architecture, offering scalable solutions aligned with an AI-powered backend.

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to bring pixel-perfect, intuitive interfaces to life.

• Track market dynamics, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to stay ahead.

• Operate with a true startup mindset hands-on, accountable, and impact-driven.

What You Bring

• 5+ years experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager for mobile apps.

• Proven success launching and owning consumer-facing products (iOS preferred).

• Strong technical understanding of mobile architecture and agile delivery.

• Demonstrated experience working with AI, machine learning, LLMs, or personalised digital products.

• Background in fast-paced startups, with comfort in ambiguity and rapid execution.

• Strong UI/UX intuition and a data-driven approach to experimentation and iteration.

• Experience working directly with C-level leadership.

• Based in South Africa with the ability to collaborate closely with remote teams.
